SpectaCross is short-track cyclocross racing produced by SpectaSport LLC that’s devoted to “serious fun” and designed to fit into the space and time restrictions of state and county fairs. Some of our light-hearted events like The Revolution Wheelworks World Final (and Beginning) of Poker-Cross and the Bike Clicks.com Classy “Class (sic)” might seem like slacker inventions, but we take your racing and your fun very seriously. We own our own digital chip timing system so that we can give you the best racing experience by scoring every rider and giving you our guarantee that lapped riders are never pulled at a SpectaCross race. We’ve spent thousand of dollars developing our own course marking system that flat-out looks better. We design our courses to be action-packed, but safe. Even though our courses double back on themselves repeatedly, if you look closely you’ll realize that they’re designed so that it’s unlikely that an off-balance rider could end-up in an oncoming lane. We have the smoothest sign-in procedure in the business, and we also offer a no-questions-asked pre-registration refund policy before August 1. Our races are also fully insured with coverage virtually identical to that offered by sanctioning bodies.
But mostly, SpectaCross is about good clean racing and real dirty fun. You won’t see all the planning that goes into SpectaSport, but you’ll see the result. We’re proud to say that the only bull you’ll have to deal with at a SpectaCross walks on four legs, eats in a barn, and gets washed in the same bullpen where you clean your bikes.
