The Garden State Open is our new Saturday evening feature event, a series of five seeded heats and two “last chance qualifiers" all leading to the guaranteed minimum $250 to win.  Riders will be seeded according to CrossResults.com, the only ranking database that includes virtually every cyclocross race in North America.  The top 20% of entrants will automatically qualify for the featured “A Main”, the next seeds will compete in two “B-Mains” (one for odd-numbered riders, one for riders with even race numbers) and the slowest seeds race in two “C-Mains”.  The winners of the hot and sunny 30 minute C-Mains qualify for their respective B-Mains.  The winners of the 30 minute B-Mains qualify for the 40 minute A-Main under the lights.  There will also be to “Last Chance Qualifiers”, seeded by order of entry, for competitors who don’t pre-enter or who want a second chance.  The winners of each “LCQ” will also qualify for the A-Main and the chance to be Garden State Open Champion.

 4:30 pm C-Main for Odd-Numbered Riders (winner transfers to B-Main-Odd)

 5:10 pm C-Main for Even-Numbered Riders (winner Transfers to B-Main-Even)

 5:50 pm B-Main for Odd-Numbered Riders (winner transfers to A-Main)

 6:30 pm B-Main for Even-Numbered Riders (winner transfers to A-Main)

 7:10 pm LCQ #1 (winner transfers to A-Main)

 7:50 pm LCQ #2 (winner transfers to A-Main)

 8:30 pm A-MAIN, 40 minutes for the Chip Baker Trophy
