There are a number of hotels and campgrounds nearby.  We recommend that you leave extra travel time as the population of Sussex County doubles during the State Fair.

If you have an RV, contact the fair about on-site RV hook-ups.

You can also join us for primitive camping in the pits.  There are no campfires, you can’t take up extra parking spots and the only toilet is a Port-a-let under a street light.  The pits are also surrounded by a fence with a locked gate after 10:00 to keep the bears out (yep, real bears).  But on the plus side, it’s only about 300 yards from the Fair’s beer garden, and you don’t have to deal with traffic in the morning, which makes it just about perfect.  Send us an email when you pre-register if you want to camp in the pits.
